Q: Why should I order custom decorated cookies from you?
A: Each cookie is baked and hand decorated with great care and love! All orders are baked to order. Baking and decorating your cookies is a time sensitive process that involves skill, effort, and are a labor of love.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: Pricing depends on several factors, size, design, and number of icing colors to list a few. Pricing starts out at $60/dozen plus tax.
Q: When should I plan and pay for my order?
A: I am happy to take large and small orders and everything is baked to order. Because my baking schedule varies and fills up a few weeks in advance, I request that custom orders are submitted at least 2 weeks or more in advance of the date you need the cookies. Payment in full is due at time of booking to secure your spot on my baking calendar. I will send you an invoice when you request your order with all the details. I use Square for invoicing. Remember, your order is not confirmed and your date is not reserved until I have received your full payment.
Q: Do you offer any other types of cookie sets?
A: Yes! I offer seasonal/holiday gift sets of 2-4 cookies. These sets are designs of my choosing and will be posted for ordering 3-4 weeks before the holiday featured. I also offer DIY kits and Paint-Your-Own cookies. Both are excellent for birthday parties, class parties, and even adult groups!
Q: What are my flavor options?
A: All cookies come in my standard flavor of vanilla cookie with vanilla royal icing. I do offer premium flavors (chocolate chip, chocolate brownie, cookies-n-cream) for an additional $2.00 per dozen.
Q: What are the ingredients of the cookies?
A: Cookies are baked with: flour, butter, sugar, eggs, pure vanilla and salt. Icing includes: powdered sugar, meringue powder, pure vanilla, and water. Even if a cookie doesn’t have peanuts, it is produced in a kitchen with peanuts. ALLERGENS: NUT, WHEAT, EGG, DAIRY
Q: I’m ready to place my order. Now what?
A: Contact me at info@joyfulheartcookies.com with your requested order. Please include the quantity, cookie flavor (extra charge for premium flavors), date you are requesting for pickup, colors/names/any special sayings or numbers, and any pictures you have for inspiration.
